Where We've Been...
The accomplishments of APPT since it was founded in September, 1993, are incredible. Members throughout Nebraska represent counseling (marriage and family, addictions, EAP, and pastoral), social work, psychology, psychiatry, nursing, and educational therapy. APPT is the first truly multi-disclipinary organization for mental health providers in the state. APPT was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 1995.
Where We're Going...
Contacts with other mental health groups around the state -- including the Nebraska Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the National Association of Social Workers, and the American Psychological Association -- are being made in order to determine legislative priorities for the future.
