The Association of Private Practice Therapists (APPT) sponsors 4-6 mini-series workshops each year on a variety of topics, including practice management issues (hiring office staff, tax minimization and compliance, computerized billing systems) as well as clinical issues. 

The Association also brings in a variety of representatives from community agencies to provide private practice mental health therapists with access to resources to help their clients. The workshops are generally held at Arbor Hall in Omaha [14040 Arbor St.] and at the Lighthouse at 26th and N St. in Lincoln, NE.
